Cut&Color Luzern is a wonderful, surprisingly inexpensive for what you get, salon in the heart of the Old Town. The hairdressers are thoroughly professional, and you get a real sense that they enjoy the client's and each other's company. There is no sense of pretentious, just great personalized service every time. The online booking system is incredibly easy to use for booking appointments, to view your already booked appointments, and even to reschedule an appointment.

Symphatic, friendly and professional staff. You feel very welcome and they do a great job on cutting hair. Had only positive results so far and know from other people that they recommend this hair stylist too.

Not satisfied. Quite overpriced service and the result was not as per request. Not careful while brushing resulting to hurt scalp and color was not satisfying. Would not recommend

My mother-in-law kindly booked an appointment for me in May as a gift. Unfortunately, when I arrived, there was a mix-up because someone else with the same first name had also been booked. Despite taking the day off and traveling to Luzern, I had to return home without receiving any service. The staff argued that it wasn't their fault, but an apology would have been appreciated since the error clearly wasn't mine. On the same day, I was informed that the gift voucher was for 200 CHF, but the Balayage and haircut I wanted would cost 350 CHF. Although expensive, I was committed because I had already received the voucher. They then scheduled another appointment for me 1.5 months later. I returned in July and, upon leaving, was surprised to be charged 407 CHF instead of the agreed 350 CHF. When the receptionist offered me the receipt, she seemed taken aback when I accepted it. Her reaction prompted me to check the receipt when I got home. Not being fluent in German, I translated it and found an additional charge of "Zusatzaufwand 45 CHF." This term implies 'extra effort' and suggests that such fees can be added arbitrarily, raising questions about transparency. We called the salon to query this charge, but the response was even less satisfactory than the first incident. It became evident that not speaking the language made me an easy target. Very very disappointed and for my mother in law as well, a "nice gift" ended up in such a headache...
